LinkedIn’s Dark Theme is in Motion

LinkedIn Dark Mood

With the high demand and request of Dark Mood feature on many apps of late, which a lot of companies are already going in same direction… LinkedIn is also working giving its users this awesome experience as it hope to roll out a new theme that suites the yearning of users around the world.

If you’re the type that is working late into the night, wishing to check out how your co-workers and old friends are doing, or possibly looking for another job on the go. You pulled up your phone and opened LinkedIn, the screen shines. This alone can make you want to drop the phone; but the good news is that something good is coming just to fix that problem for you and many other smartphone users just like you.

LinkedIn plans in bringing Dark Mode to the app. A leaker, Jane Manchun Wong came across the unreleased Dark Mode in LinkedIn’s mobile app for Android by looking into the code underneath.

Jane Wong said in a blog post:

This Dark Mode appears to be in an early stage of development, understandably. For now, only certain parts of the app has been reworked to support the Dark Mode. For example, dark icon displaying on a dark background, vice versa.

The time it takes to develop and release experimental features like this varies. I am as curious about the release timeline of LinkedIn’s Dark Mode as you are!

So what do you think of this giant move by LinkedIn?
