NCC Directs Telcos to Grant Extra 14 Days Grace Period for Unused Data

Nigeria Telecommunications Fee (NCC) has mandated and directed all telecommunications suppliers (Airtel, MTN, Glo and 9mobile) to give subscribers further 14 days grace duration to exhaust their unused information after the 30 days expiration duration.

Ms. Helen Obi, said this in Minna, the Niger state capital, on the Shoppers Dialog Discussion board organised by means of the NCC.

“NCC has mandated all network providers to give their subscribers 14 days of grace after the 30 days expiration of their data if they still have data left and cannot recharge to get their data rolled over,” she said.

The NCC additionally recommended customers that if their downside isn’t solved by means of their community supplier, they must no longer hesitate to name the NCC and lay their lawsuits, assuring them that the issue can be solved and the community supplier will compensate the subscriber.
