#3. Jaywon signed a new kid to his label: Singer, Jaywon, has signed a new act to
his record label. The label, ‘Next World Music‘ created by the ‘Odun Yi’ crooner; back in 2014, now also houses singer Twist Da Fireman. On why he chose Twist, ‘I fell in love with his music and decided to look for him’ Jaywon said.
#4. Rapper Jesse Jagz has postponed the release of his new album: “Odysseus” which was meant to drop this year. The ‘Jargo‘ crooner, tendered a sincere apology to fans via his twitter handle, adding that he is still working on the album. He tweeted
“Sincere apology to my fans worldwide. My album Odysseus will not be dropping this year anymore, am still working on it with my team to give you all a top quality records”
#5. Singer 9ice said all the proceeds that are gotten from his album will be given to his friend ID CABASA: Singer 9ice, needs no introduction to the music world/market. The ‘Economy’ crooner, who is set on releasing his new album ‘ID Cabasa’ has revealed that all the proceeds from the album, will be given to the ace
music producer. Speaking on HipTV, 9ice
acknowledged the fact that ID Cabasa, did a whole lot for his career and thus deserves to be celebrated while still alive.
#6. On a sad note, run town have landed himself in big trouble: Singer Runtown has found himself entangled in a #14M lawsuit. According to thenet.ng, the singer was billed to perform at a New Year Day carnival organized by Anambra State youth association, Dynamic Minds League, but never showed up for the event. The show, which was held on January 1, 2015 in Adazi-Nnukwu town, Anambra State, saw the ‘Bend Down Pause’ crooner being paid #800,000.00 a fee paid via his record label, Eric Many Entertainment.
The lawsuit, which was filed before a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja, contained claims that the group lost a huge amount of money as money had been spent on printing fliers to promote the show’s tickets, flight tickets, and accommodation for the artiste and his manager. ‘Due to the absence of Runtown, the association lost millions of naira in expected profit and severe damage to its reputation which has a grave impact on the association’s ability to stage events, attract patrons and compete with rival carnival/show organizers in Anambra State and environ’ the petitioner said.
Reports also have it that Runtown has reportedly filed an initial opposition, stating lack of jurisdiction through his lawyer. The case has however been adjourned till January 25, 2017 for further hearing.

Wizkid Cancels All Shows For December 2016 And January 2017: Not long after a fan drew attention to how frail Wizkid looked in a recent photo, the singer, took to social media to announce that he will be canceling all shows for Dec and January 2017. Wizkid who has been on tour for 2years now, revealed the stress is definitely catching up and has been advised by his doctors to take a break.

And finally, Paul Okoye To Release Gospel Version Of ‘Bank Alert’ Following Fan’s Cover: Paul Okoye, one half of the Psquare group is set to release the gospel version of their latest effort ‘Bank Alert’. This is coming after a fan identified as Gee Jay, did a gospel cover to the song. Paul, took to his Instagram page to share the video, adding that he was highly impresses with the cover and would love to record it for the Christmas season. He also begged fans to tag her to enable him contact her
for the remix. “My sister I love it…. in fact this version shld be out this Christmas, tag her, need Her contact sharp sharp” he captioned the video.
